It Might not be as Sweet but still Counts as a Halloween Treat

Happy Halloween!

Here is a little news clip on some alternative choices for Halloween candy.
It Might not be as Sweet but still Counts as a Halloween Treat.

Your ghosts and goblins will be getting plenty of candy tonight, why not hand out something with a little staying power? My treat of choice this year is packs of fruit (banana chips and cranberries) and pistachios. So cute and yummy!

For all you Moms out there, you will appreciate that these also make wonderful purse treats. I always keep a couple “secret weapons” in my purse for those times you are out running errands and need to tide the kiddos over for just a little bit longer. I have been known to whip a couple packs of these (or string cheese) out when I have my 30% coupon at Kohls! A treat usually gives me 10-15 minutes of extra time. I have found it is hard for my kids to fight with each other or run around the store when they have their hands and mouths full!
